Do you know how a slewing bearing is assembled? First, a slewing bearing consists of an inner ring and an outer ring. Steel balls or rollers are inserted into the raceway formed by the inner and outer rings through an installation hole. Now, we start placing the steel balls and spacers into the slewing bearing raceway. A spacer is placed between every two steel balls to prevent direct contact and hard friction, which helps to extend the service life of the slewing bearing. Once the steel balls are fully installed, we seal the installation hole with a plug to prevent the balls from falling out. Finally, we secure it with a pin. All done! We've just completed the assembly of a slewing bearing.
