Runout Inspection

Tooth runout refers to the maximum radial deviation of gear teeth during meshing, typically caused by machining tolerances or assembly deviations of the gear ring. Before delivery, we perform precise runout inspection on each slewing bearing and mark the point of maximum deviation with green paint. We recommend that customers adjust the backlash between the pinion and the gear ring at this highest runout point during installation. This ensures that the gear backlash remains within an optimal range throughout the entire rotation, improving transmission stability and extending the service life of the equipment.
